Fall Lookbook 2018
You’ve probably heard this before from many different people, but I’m just going to say it again. Fall/Autumn is the BEST time for fashion. Sure you’re not going to be pulling out your favourite floral tank dress, but I would much rather put on my favourite sweater dress (which you’re going to see right away).
Even though it’s already November, we still have about a month and a half left of Fall. Yeah, if you’re like me, living in Winnipeg can sometimes make you believe Winter starts in November. But, if you get to live somewhere where the weather changes at much more ‘normal’ pace then you are just in the midst of Fall!
Back in October I asked on Instagram what you all would like to see next: A Fall Get Ready With Me? or A Fall Lookbook? And by the title of this blog you already know. Lookbook took the crown.
So I rummaged through my closet to find my favourite pieces from last fall and mixed them in with the new pieces from this year. So without further ado… here it is my fall 2018 Lookbook.
Fall Lookbook
1. Parisian Vibes: When it comes to classic style, I always think Parisian. Because Audrey said it best, “Paris is always a good idea.” This look is heavily inspired by Parisian fashion aka the Beret and top , but I also gathered inspo from Gossip Girl legend herself, Miss Blair Waldorf during her school days with the plaid skirt and knee-high socks.
Outfit:
Beret: Forever 21
Top: Joe Fresh
Skirt: Frank and Oak (c/o)
Bag: Celine (So Over It)
Socks: Joe Fresh
Boots: Call it Spring
2. The Little Black Dress: Another classic piece is the LBD, but this time I gave it a cozy twist. I love knit, and this little black dress is such a simple, but flattering piece. I’m also totally loving the sixties vibes with the houndstooth cabbie hat. Pair it up with the cute pointed boots and you’re ready for a night out!
Outfit:
Hat: Forever 21
Dress: Vero Moda
Boots: Le Chateau
Bag: Henri Bendel
3. Cozy Leather: Cozy & leather? Doesn’t usually go together, but that was the best thing I could think of to describe this look. I paired my current favourite oversized knit sweater with these super comfy coated pants. Added some pointed boots and a cute backpack and we’re done! Plus, I love how these pants make it look like the boots are almost attached to them.
