Favourite Clean Beauty Products
Over the past year I’ve been making a conscious effort to try and switch over my beauty products to ones that fall into the clean beauty category. I’ve drastically paired down my makeup consumption and have been carefully selecting any new product that enters my collection. One of the easiest ways I’ve found to look for clean beauty stamped products is by using the ‘Clean’ filter when shopping at Sephora, which you’ll see very soon is where I found most of the products below. As someone who love a good beauty product I want to not only feel great wearing the product, but also feel confident the product isn’t using any harsh ingredients.
With that being said, here is my list of my current favourite clean beauty products.
HUNA Nourish Skin Nutrition Balm - This local Manitoban company is one of the best clean beauty brands out there in my opinion. I was graciously gifted their Nourish Skin Nutrition Balm from Spa Botanica and I’ve absolutely loved using it. This balm is the ultimate multi-purpose product that can be used on your face and body! My favourite way to use it actually as a cuticle treatment!
bareMinerals Mineral Veil (Clean at Sephora) - When I ran out of my loose powder I knew I wanted to find a talc-free formula and after some research the bareMinerals one seemed to be the clear winner based off what I found. It does a great job at setting my makeup and keeping my skin from getting a little too glowy looking… if you know what I mean! :P
Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick (Clean at Sephora) - After getting this product in my Sephora birthday gift I was instantly hooked. I am a cream blush over powder girl, and this formula is super easy to blend and apply. It’s great it can be used not only as a blush, but also as a lip a great product to throw in your handbag. Also absolutely love the shade Werk!
Peace Out Retinol Eye Stick (Clean at Sephora) - Bye bye dark circles, wrinkles and fine lines this clean beauty product is one of my favourite skin care steps! I use this every night before bed and I can confidently say I’ve seen my under eyes look smoother.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen (Clean at Sephora) - This Allure beauty winner is the BEST face sunscreen I’ve used. Not only is it a clean product, but the super lightweight CLEAR formula drys so quickly on the skin. This is definitely one of my favourite products.
Zoya Nail Polish - This brand is one I found while searching for a sage green nail colour. I was immediately intrigued not only by the beautiful colour I found, but by the fact the brand is non-toxic and claims to be the longest wearing non-toxic brand. I have to say I can easily get a week out of an application.
Lawless Mini The Little One Eyeshadow Palette (Clean at Sephora) - This is the perfect platte in my opinion. Not only does it have the best selection of warm tones, but it’s a great size for travel. Really the all you need palette. It’s my go to!
