Get Ready Quickly with an Instant Outfit
For me getting ready in the morning is something that I'm not totally in love with. I tend to hit that snooze button more times than I'd like to admit. That's why I'll try any little (or big) trick to help me save time while getting ready in the morning.
Today's post is one I'm super excited about. I've teamed up with Ricki's to show you how I would get ready wearing three of Ricki's new Instant Outfit pieces. So what's an Instant Outfit? Well it's simple. Ricki's has just launched a new line of office appropriate clothing that is perfect for spring. The idea is built from three key pieces, a top, cover-up, and bottoms. All 17 pieces from the collection can be mix and matched to create different easy, quick, and stylish ensembles. Basically, it'll take you no more than two minutes to put together a gorgeous outfit.
Now that you've got your look done in two minutes, makeup is the next step. When I'm in a rush I like to keep it simple. Here's the steps I follow for a polished daytime look:
1. Concealer to cover any blemishes or red spots.
2. Powder to get rid of any unwanted shine.
3. Blush to bring some wanted colour back to my skin.
4. A light pinky-brown eyeshadow all over my eye lid, with a darker shade in my crease.
5. Liquid liner to create a thin wing. (Optional step)
6. Mascara for the lashes.
7. A pink lipstick for the lips.
Here's the look I put together using that same makeup routine and three of my favourite pieces from the Instant Outfit collection!
