This past weekend was July long, aka the first long weekend of summer and Canada’s birthday. This weekend a took a trip up about an hour north of Winnipeg to Gimli, Manitoba, a cute summer town right on Lake Winnipeg.

I have family in the area and I love spending time all year around there, but there’s definitely something special about Gimli in the summertime. The town comes alive in the summer and there’s always fun activities to do. This weekend we spent time at the Seawall Gallery, listened to music at the Gimli Harbour Stage, and watched a beautiful firework display.

What was my outfit of choice? A super summery look anchored by this gorgeous blue/white printed dress from H&M from the lovely Lydia Millen collab. If you don’t follow her, I highly recommend she is style goals!

I paired the dress with this floppy hat from Ardene, some dainty gold jewelry from Penny + Grace (sent to me for reviews on A Year Of Boxes) and Marina De Buchi. Plus chunky tan heels from Call it Spring and a tan crossbody bag from Aldo.
