Two Charming Weekend Getaway Spots in Manitoba

As the snow is clearing and spring has finally arrived, I always start getting in the mood to plan out my summer. While the past couple years hasn’t lent itself to any travelling outside of Manitoba for me, I have done a couple cute weekend getaways with my best friends right here in Friendly Manitoba.

I figured I’d share these spots if you are looking for a Manitoban stay for a weekend getaway!

The Rosé Beach House

Located right on the main strip in Winnipeg Beach, The Rosé Beach House is the ultimate location for a girly weekend getaway. It’s an old motel converted into a bright modern space with a retro flare. Not only are the rooms absolutely adorable, but you can’t beat the beach location. Within a minute you can be right on the beach or sitting on a patio. My roomie and I spent a weekend last July there and we had a blast. We went on walks, spent the day at the beach, watched a ton of movies and shows and even cooked a dinner in the kitchenette. As we were there I couldn’t help thinking how this would also be an ideal space for a bachelorette! Also drinking rosé while there is basically a must.

Bella’s Castle

About an hour an a half outside the city in Morden, Manitoba is the most picturesque B&B you’ll ever see. Bella’s Castle is an old mansion built in 1902 that has been converted into a B&B since 2016. My bestie and I spent Halloween weekend there last year and has an absolutely wonderful, cozy time! We explored around Morden, went to Rendezvous Brewery, and watched a bunch of Halloween movies. We even got dressed up for a Halloween dinner at the B&B! If you want to feel like you are spending time in a Gilmore Girls world then I definitely recommend checking out this charming spot.
